After the opening of the Entrudo dos Caretos de Lazarim, we headed to the village and immersed ourselves in the authenticity of this unique Carnival. In Lazarim, the Caretos, with their masks carved from alder wood, bring with them tradition and catharsis. Carnival here is marked by activities such as meetings with artisans, photo raids and ethnographic parades, where bass drums echo with the sound of caretos.
